Love At First Bite.

Do you remember your first love, my lovely readers, I bet you do. I remember mine, it was Summer 1988 and I was introduced to this strawberry blonde 6 ft 15 year old with a name beginning with M(better not say his real name) he was the new boy at our comprehensive school. I had heard all the girls fancied him and he had already snogged a few of my friends, so I didn't like him already I thought he was a lush.  I was the last one out of our group of friends who hadn't  met him  yet, and I was glad because I fancied someone else anyway. Ooh Get me.
I walked up the road to meet my friends after I had eaten my tea and there in the distance was this tall teenage boy, I looked at him and thought "Is that him, is that what all the bloody fuss was about" as I was about to talk to my friend standing next to me, this boy or M, caught my eye and was staring in my direction, and I can safely say readers, that my legs went to jelly and I felt sick. I was in love.
My first teenage romance, we met at the subway station how romantic and his first present to me was a 12" vinyl copy of Madonna's Borderline, which I found the other day hence this post.  we broke up three times in six months once  because I accused him of fancying Sharon(miss popular) Davies and once because his mates interfeared   and once when he met his friends instead of me.

We spent four years being childhood sweethearts, long hot Summer days teddy bears and love hearts for presents, laughter and not a care in the world. At 19 everything changed he wanted to get engaged, and I said we were to young and wanted to wait, until we completed our studies and got jobs. He wouldn't listen and we started to argue, and one horrible day we had a nasty argument in the street, were he told me he hated me and that was that. My heart broke I literally felt it brake, and  I cried and cried at  Whitney's Houston songs.  I left for Italy that Summer and came back in September a different person. I grew up. I think most people remember their first love it's part of life's pleasure and pain. The only thing is I hope he doesn't bloody read this.

This is such a fun post! I think we all remember our first love at least to some degree, and reflecting on it can bring a smile to my face. Sure, they may not be the lasting love, but they help to shape who we are today

My Messy Pasta Cupboard The Brilliant Film I Watched Last Night and Amazon Where Is My Parcel.

I went to a great pasta shop today and I stocked up on my low supply of Italian pasta, I can't stand the stuff in the Supermarket's, my Palate  being spoiled my whole life by my Italian family and their wonderful cooking. Yes I can tell when I am given supermarket pasta I am afraid you can't fool me.  Somebody who shall remain nameless was supposed to put it neatly in the Pasta Cupboard, and this is how I found it ...........................…

My Obsession with Red Shoes.

I was clearing out some boxes that were secretly stashed at the bottom of my wardrobe,  actually  I forgot about them.  There were about six of them, I wondered what was in each one,  I took them out and placed them on my bed in great anticipation of what I might find, I opened the first one and there was a lovely pair of red stilettos  that were about 15 years old, and I hadn't worn in ages, the second one were some flats,  third some pumps, all the boxes contained shoes of some style that I hadn't seen for an eternity.                                         Why have I kept all theses old shoes, I thought, when I hadn't worn any of them for years, all lined up I looked at them. Yes  they are all Red,  and  that's why I couldn't bear to part with any of them.                                         I had discarded all different colours and style's  down the years,    couldn't spot any of them,  not even in a line up…

Four Days In Florence.

Ciao Italia

We landed 9.00 am,  after a rather quite flight from Manchester Airport, weather was 17 degrees and a mixture of cloudy and sun.  Very different from the cool rainy UK, we had just left.  Hotel was a small boutique type I did want to say which one it was, but my partner has asked me not to name names, for privacy. reasons and I respect that. One day I will get him on the blog, you will see.       But it was…
