The Multi Tasking Blogger.

Photo Taken By My Good Friend

Now that December has gone, and we are well and truly into another month and a brand new year, now that I had a little rest from the blog, I can now say I am well and truly "on it" as they say. Even when us bloggers and content creators are "resting" we are still working, thinking of new idea's, spotting things to photograph on our everyday travels, our  minds and ideas never stop. I carry a little note book with me to write down any ideas, that come into my head, in case I forget them.
My blog is now nearly  seven months old and I have had such a good time, I have learnt so much on the way, I have learnt a new style of writing, how to use social media correctly, send e-mails to companies for influencer jobs how to use a blogger programme  etc etc so many strings to my bow, I am still learning every day and I feel like the blog is still transitioning, I have talked to so many lovely bloggers who I admire greatly who have some great blogs which I aspire to, One Day.
I realised the other day, I was editing and previewing a post while I was cooking a Sunday roast for four, when I realised what I was doing,  I had been working all day, cooking tea and with my trusty laptop open on the Kitchen worktop, I thought "now that's multi tasking" I was quite proud of my self to be honest.  I never thought I would enter this world of the blogger, but it is and has been an education that I thought I would never be capable of, I have been writing since and I was very young and once had my own fanzine (remember them) for those who are old enough when I was 19, I loved it but life took over and I stopped what I loved.
So this twenty years later, I am writing again and I love it.
If  you my dear readers are thinking of starting your own blog, go for it, it's good for the mind and the soul and you will learn so much and connect with some lovely people. Go for it.

I wrote an earlier post on How To Overcome Writers  block, There are a few good tips in it if you are interested. Here is the link How To Overcome Writers Block

International Women's Day. Who Is Your Inspirational Women.

This is Anna, my Grandmother, and I have chosen her as my Inspirational women for International Women's day 2019.    Anna, my Grandmother was born in April 1907 on the East Coast of Italy, in another time, and another place, long before I was even thought of.  I have chosen my Grandmother today  because she was a strong confident women who had a hard life with no money no decent home and sometimes no shoes on her feet as she used to tell me.  My Grandmother got married at 18 in Pink and had four daughter's the youngest of whom was my own Mother.  My Grandfather was a farmer/soldier and when the second world war broke out my Grandfather was in the war, my Nan as I always called her, was on her own in war torn Italy with four daughter ages ranging from 13 downwards to 6 years old,  if we think of poverty in our towns and cities today according to my Nan's  standards they where horrendously poor only eating what they could grow and what they could kill.  During the war for…

Youtube's Lucy Wyndham-Read, My New Online Personal Trainer.

I have started a new fitness routine, I have always loved keeping fit since my late twenty's till today, it's funny that when I was at school I hated sports or games as we call it here in the UK, I was always the last or second to last in a race and was never picked for any team I did however excel at Volley Ball (no idea why) and I was good at dance, but of course my school abandoned the volley ball team. at age thirteen, but I did do dance lessons from the age of seven till sixteen, I had  dreams of being a dancer on Top of the Pops, (yeah right).
From about the age of 27 I started to workout to keep fit DVD's and they worked they really did, and I actually enjoyed it, I became pretty fit and had a nice little figure too,  but alas time has gone on and the years have gone by and by the time I was 35 I started to realize I couldn't do the DVD's that I was doing a few years back and was struggling to do any more that 20 mins each time, and eventually  I started …

Why I Hate Love Island.

I know this will not be  popular  with a lot of the  British public, but I hate ITV1's  Love Island, there I have said it. Am I the only one?  I feel on a daily basis the only one.   Last Summer this show, about lovely young men and women on an holiday island  was on and all my  female friends and some of my  family were watching it, they were fascinated, next to the photocopier they were fascinated, going out for drinks with my girlfriends all I could hear was he fancies her she snogged him, so I felt like an absolute freak when I suddenly shouted to out "I have never seen it", all heads turned and looked at me in amazement, eyes wide and mouths open, one or two heads shaking in amazement, "what" one particular friend   cried out "never?".  They were horrified I felt like I wanted the ground to swallow me up whole.
So I must confess that night I went home put on Youtube typed in Love Island and there were lots of lots of older clips I saw one tha…

Santi's Handmade Jewellery, Review.

This post contains advertising links.

Hi to you all, I was approached by the lovely and talented Sofiya Dimitrova, creator of Santi's Homemade Jewellery.  You will find her fantastic website here Santi's handmade Jewellery  Who gifted me a lovely   Earing's   and bracelet set  to review.

The items arrived very quickly in a cute little pouch trimmed with a ribbon, I love jewellery so as you can imagine I was very excited to open it.   The earnings and bracelet  I was gifted are silver plated, wire wrapped with opal stone beads. The name Opal derives from the Sanskrit word upala which means "precious stone".  Sofiya designed this piece so it would go with any Summer outfit.
I loved the pure but subtle tones of the blue against the silver, and that the beads change colour in the light  the earnings are wired so delicately, and with care, you can tell that Sofiya takes great pride in her work.  Each piece has been lovingly handcraft, most of her pieces are made …
