December Wish List. And My Date Night Update.

1st of  December has arrived and to me this time of year Winter has really begun, yesterday I bought some beautiful  Red and White wooden ornaments I found for my tree in a  lovely craft shop, the Lady that  owns it makes them buy hand, so I ordered 8 different shapes I thought they were so beautiful, she will ring me when they are ready to pick up, I will show you all here when they are ready. The town is really looking so festive and now I have changed my calendar, I am starting to feel that Christmas vibe excitement ever so slightly starting to creep in, while I was walking around town  I thought of a another topic for my blog my December wish list I try not to do the boggy thing, but now and again it  won't do any harm. and I will update you on how my Romantic Date Night went.

So here is my wish list.

1, I want a brilliant Christmas tree, every year I am jealous of the stunning trees everyone has, I always have good intentions, and I plan it shall I use  tinsel or not, shall I colour scheme or not. I start the tree off well and by the end I stuff all the stuff in the box on and |I rush it, but I am not doing that this year I refuse to. I will have a lovely posh tree even if it kills me.

2,  No tacky lights, nothing will flash in my home, not the lights anyway 😲 I have decided I do not want to be bombarded with flash flash flash and a Santa that Farts and pulls his pants down.

3,  Eat better than I have been doing the last couple of weeks I have been so busy, that I have had quick meals and that's no good so from now on my body is a temple.

4,  This is a big one for me stop stressing and stay away from negative people. Guess who told me that, my lovely loved one, and he is right I do tend to stress about other people's problems. I have to stop.

5,  And last but not least have a really good and fun last month of the year. I deserve it. I think.

My Friday Date Night.

He didn't mind me posting this one.

My  beloved one took me out on Friday Night for a lovely meal I never really do that on Friday's but I thought OK, he wouldn't tell me where we were   going it was a surprise  and I  was excited, we went for a lovely drive, in the dark I might say and ended up in this lovely place not far from us I was going to say where my lovely readers,  but he's  asked me not to identify it, and I said I wouldn't and respect his privacy.    It was a lovely evening and a romantic one, he wanted to treat me because he could see how hard I have been working, he does know about the blog and knows that I love writing for you all  but he doesn't really want to be on it, one day I will persuade him  to appear.  I have taken a few photo's  mainly of food you all know me, by now.

This is the spectacular courtyard outside the restaurant, I had to show you all,
                                                              I love the lights.

My food it was so yummy.

International Women's Day. Who Is Your Inspirational Women.

This is Anna, my Grandmother, and I have chosen her as my Inspirational women for International Women's day 2019.    Anna, my Grandmother was born in April 1907 on the East Coast of Italy, in another time, and another place, long before I was even thought of.  I have chosen my Grandmother today  because she was a strong confident women who had a hard life with no money no decent home and sometimes no shoes on her feet as she used to tell me.  My Grandmother got married at 18 in Pink and had four daughter's the youngest of whom was my own Mother.  My Grandfather was a farmer/soldier and when the second world war broke out my Grandfather was in the war, my Nan as I always called her, was on her own in war torn Italy with four daughter ages ranging from 13 downwards to 6 years old,  if we think of poverty in our towns and cities today according to my Nan's  standards they where horrendously poor only eating what they could grow and what they could kill.  During the war for…

Youtube's Lucy Wyndham-Read, My New Online Personal Trainer.

I have started a new fitness routine, I have always loved keeping fit since my late twenty's till today, it's funny that when I was at school I hated sports or games as we call it here in the UK, I was always the last or second to last in a race and was never picked for any team I did however excel at Volley Ball (no idea why) and I was good at dance, but of course my school abandoned the volley ball team. at age thirteen, but I did do dance lessons from the age of seven till sixteen, I had  dreams of being a dancer on Top of the Pops, (yeah right).
From about the age of 27 I started to workout to keep fit DVD's and they worked they really did, and I actually enjoyed it, I became pretty fit and had a nice little figure too,  but alas time has gone on and the years have gone by and by the time I was 35 I started to realize I couldn't do the DVD's that I was doing a few years back and was struggling to do any more that 20 mins each time, and eventually  I started …

Why I Hate Love Island.

I know this will not be  popular  with a lot of the  British public, but I hate ITV1's  Love Island, there I have said it. Am I the only one?  I feel on a daily basis the only one.   Last Summer this show, about lovely young men and women on an holiday island  was on and all my  female friends and some of my  family were watching it, they were fascinated, next to the photocopier they were fascinated, going out for drinks with my girlfriends all I could hear was he fancies her she snogged him, so I felt like an absolute freak when I suddenly shouted to out "I have never seen it", all heads turned and looked at me in amazement, eyes wide and mouths open, one or two heads shaking in amazement, "what" one particular friend   cried out "never?".  They were horrified I felt like I wanted the ground to swallow me up whole.
So I must confess that night I went home put on Youtube typed in Love Island and there were lots of lots of older clips I saw one tha…

Sponsored  Post with links.

Hi all, I have some very exciting news to tell you all, I have been asked to write a pre-review of a fantastic blogging opportunity. I was so excited when I was chosen. I have always wanted to go to this ever since I was little and have never been.

FAMILY FRIENDLY INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL FOR ALL.  It is a weeks long family friendly celebration which is full of music and dance and culture at the Llangollen Eisteddfod, I was born and have  grown up in North Wales and the Eisteddfod has been a huge part of my life, I have always known that the  people of the area as a child look forward to the festival every year, and it is part of Welsh culture and beyond. The very first festival was in June 1947 listed as a celebration of peace and harmony, and they are right, the whole festival is about music dance  and culture, there will be over 5,000 international performances from all over the world to entertain visitors to the beautiful and serene town of Llangollen, No…
