How To Start A Blog, The Very Beginning.

I started My very first Blog on 17th July 2018,  I had an idea in my head that I wanted to  write content, I am not a professional writer, but I had a lot to say and I love to write, I did sign up with a different platform a few months before and thought don't be so silly this is a younger person's game, and didn't continue, but a few month's later in the middle of a very hot Summer I thought Fuck it, what the hell do I have to loose, lets go.  I must say I was bombarded with so much information at the beginning I didn't know what to listen to and was very confused I hope I have sussed it out a bit so far.  So I have decided to share some of my early tips if you are thinking of starting your very own. I am still very much growing my Blog week by week and I really do enjoy writing for you all,  I hope you all enjoy what I write, I still worry I am making a fool out of myself, but I now know I have regular readers and I thank you for that. Here are a list of my very honest tips according to me.

1, Start with a free blogging site  Word Press is very popular, but I found Blogger on Google much easier to use, and I liked there template's.

2, I was told to think of a niche, but I didn't want to fit into a box and wanted to vary what I wanted to say, so I choose a lifestyle blog.

3, Make sure you take your time don't rush your Blog I made that mistake and got very tired and frustrated. You will learn the technical bit click on things try different layout's, Font's etc

4, When you have your blog up and running, Social Media is the way to go, I read so much advice saying not to use it, but it's a must you just can't relay on people coming across your blog on goggle set up your own Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pintrest, related to your blog's name, and every time you publish a post make sure you share it to social media. It's the biggest tip I could give you, there is no point of writing if no one reads your stuff.

5, Make sure you use really good pictures make sure they are well thought through and related to your blog post,  I try to use my own, but I have also used Stock Photo's.

6, Write good content don't just put down any old shit to get readers you have to be proud of what you have written. It will make you feel good about yourself.

7, It takes time,  don't rush it, that's what I did at the beginning, you will learn something new with every item you post. Your Blog will grow I was told it takes about six months to get established and they are right, I am halfway through.

I am not an expert, but thinking back three months I have learnt a hell of a lot.

How To Survive Your Younger Years.

What age would you go back to?   Sixteen, Eighteen, your early twenty's?  I personally think that there is a huge difference between 16 and 24 not just in numbers but in life.  I am writing this post because I have seen a lot of younger people struggling and it has made me very sad and I some what know what they are going through,  of course everybody's situation is different  we all have different lives and family situations and a different set of problems.
I am no expert on mental health I would never dare, I am only writing from my own point of view and my own struggles  when I was younger.  When I have talked to several younger people, lately my heart breaks for them I remember the self esteem issues that I had as a teenager, the fear I felt when sitting my GCSE exams, and leaving school was terrifying I didn't want to grow up it was scary, I wanted to hang out with my friends get drunk and snog boys, I knew that I couldn't do that I had to study I had to get a j…

The Secret Blogger

Put your hands up who's a secret blogger,  me me me.  In a room full of people I would be the first to stand up, in a queue I would be well and truly at the front.  I am the Ultimate secret blogger I confess, anyone else come on own up.
On a serious note when, I started my blogging journey I really wanted something to do on a creative level if  20 or so people read my posts I would have been really happy, I never realised  that I would get this far, I have learnt so much in such a short space of time. I started my blog on July 17th 2018, only one person knew about it, my Brother I needed him for the technical bit, I will give him a shout out because he does read the blog don't you know, it took me about three weeks to tell my Sister, and one of my Nieces and my older Brother but no one else knows,   I feel quite like it's some kind of big hush hush secret, don't get me wrong I am proud of my little corner of the internet, I am just not ready to share it with …

International Women's Day. Who Is Your Inspirational Women.

This is Anna, my Grandmother, and I have chosen her as my Inspirational women for International Women's day 2019.    Anna, my Grandmother was born in April 1907 on the East Coast of Italy, in another time, and another place, long before I was even thought of.  I have chosen my Grandmother today  because she was a strong confident women who had a hard life with no money no decent home and sometimes no shoes on her feet as she used to tell me.  My Grandmother got married at 18 in Pink and had four daughter's the youngest of whom was my own Mother.  My Grandfather was a farmer/soldier and when the second world war broke out my Grandfather was in the war, my Nan as I always called her, was on her own in war torn Italy with four daughter ages ranging from 13 downwards to 6 years old,  if we think of poverty in our towns and cities today according to my Nan's  standards they where horrendously poor only eating what they could grow and what they could kill.  During the war for…

Youtube's Lucy Wyndham-Read, My New Online Personal Trainer.

I have started a new fitness routine, I have always loved keeping fit since my late twenty's till today, it's funny that when I was at school I hated sports or games as we call it here in the UK, I was always the last or second to last in a race and was never picked for any team I did however excel at Volley Ball (no idea why) and I was good at dance, but of course my school abandoned the volley ball team. at age thirteen, but I did do dance lessons from the age of seven till sixteen, I had  dreams of being a dancer on Top of the Pops, (yeah right).
From about the age of 27 I started to workout to keep fit DVD's and they worked they really did, and I actually enjoyed it, I became pretty fit and had a nice little figure too,  but alas time has gone on and the years have gone by and by the time I was 35 I started to realize I couldn't do the DVD's that I was doing a few years back and was struggling to do any more that 20 mins each time, and eventually  I started …
