How To Start A Blog, The Very Beginning.

I started My very first Blog on 17th July 2018,  I had an idea in my head that I wanted to  write content, I am not a professional writer, but I had a lot to say and I love to write, I did sign up with a different platform a few months before and thought don't be so silly this is a younger person's game, and didn't continue, but a few month's later in the middle of a very hot Summer I thought Fuck it, what the hell do I have to loose, lets go.  I must say I was bombarded with so much information at the beginning I didn't know what to listen to and was very confused I hope I have sussed it out a bit so far.  So I have decided to share some of my early tips if you are thinking of starting your very own. I am still very much growing my Blog week by week and I really do enjoy writing for you all,  I hope you all enjoy what I write, I still worry I am making a fool out of myself, but I now know I have regular readers and I thank you for that. Here are a list of my very honest tips according to me.

1, Start with a free blogging site  Word Press is very popular, but I found Blogger on Google much easier to use, and I liked there template's.

2, I was told to think of a niche, but I didn't want to fit into a box and wanted to vary what I wanted to say, so I choose a lifestyle blog.

3, Make sure you take your time don't rush your Blog I made that mistake and got very tired and frustrated. You will learn the technical bit click on things try different layout's, Font's etc

4, When you have your blog up and running, Social Media is the way to go, I read so much advice saying not to use it, but it's a must you just can't relay on people coming across your blog on goggle set up your own Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pintrest, related to your blog's name, and every time you publish a post make sure you share it to social media. It's the biggest tip I could give you, there is no point of writing if no one reads your stuff.

5, Make sure you use really good pictures make sure they are well thought through and related to your blog post,  I try to use my own, but I have also used Stock Photo's.

6, Write good content don't just put down any old shit to get readers you have to be proud of what you have written. It will make you feel good about yourself.

7, It takes time,  don't rush it, that's what I did at the beginning, you will learn something new with every item you post. Your Blog will grow I was told it takes about six months to get established and they are right, I am halfway through.

I am not an expert, but thinking back three months I have learnt a hell of a lot.

Guest Post, How To Get Free Beauty Products by Hannah at Frugal Bride To Be.

Hi! I’m Hannah and I blog about saving money and living frugally over at I am currently saving up for our house and wedding so every penny that I can save helps!

Beauty products are one of those things that most of us will use on a daily basis, be it shampoo, toothpaste, makeup or skin care. None of these are exactly cheap and some of them really can set you back a small fortune!

The latest Game of Thrones palette by Urban Decay for example, is still on sale for over £40 which is just crazy talk to me….

Now, what if told you that you could actually get your hands on quite a few beauty products without having to spend a penny? Yes, you read that right – you can get products for FREE

But how…?

There are absolutely loads of places that you can get free beauty products if you know where to look and aren’t afraid to speak to a few people. Some of these you can even do without leaving your sofa as well!

Now, I’m not saying you’re going to get full size…

Ciao Italia

We landed 9.00 am,  after a rather quite flight from Manchester Airport, weather was 17 degrees and a mixture of cloudy and sun.  Very different from the cool rainy UK, we had just left.  Hotel was a small boutique type I did want to say which one it was, but my partner has asked me not to name names, for privacy. reasons and I respect that.
